Bronte Country

When I came to live in Yorkshire:
My mother was really thrilled. As
I only lived a few miles from
Haworth. Home of the 'Brontes'.
I don't know if it was due to the novels
But when we got there Haworth was
really not bleak and wild...
Yes the moors were. One could almost
imagine Heathcliffe ambling along.
But Haworth itself was thronged with
visitors world wide. The parsonage
and church being part of the village itself....
A lot to enjoy on this website......

Oh, this is lovely. I've been to Haworth and walked the path to that house ruin. That's one of my favorite memories of England.
